The K.I.S.S. Java applet allows you to query multiple Internet search engines in one single step.

To use, enter a search string and select one (or more) search engines, then simply click on the search button.

A "default" parameter is also available to initially configure the applet to your favorite settings.

For example, to have the applet automatically select Yahoo, AltaVista and Mac, include the following between the <applet>...</applet> tags:

<PARAM NAME="default" VALUE="Yahoo,AltaVista,Mac">

Each value elements must be separated by a comma (no space) and must exactly match one of the names displayed by the applet in order to be selected.

Additional parameters are available to configure the look and feel of the applet. Please refer to the chart below for more detailed information.

NAME	VALUE	DESCRIPTION
searchlabel	button_label	Specifies the name of the search button, the default is "Search..."
helplabel	button_label	Specifies the name of the help button, the default is "Help."
bgcolor	color\|RGB	Specifies the applet background color. Its value must be a valid color name (see colors below), or RGB integer value. The default color is "white".
helpURL	url	Specifies the URL fetched whenever the help button is clicked, it defaults to this page.
Colors	--	Valid color names are: "red", "green", "blue", "pink", "orange", "magenta", "cyan", "white", "yellow", "black", "gray", "drakGray" and "lightGray".
